Very clean and comfortable rooms. The furniture and fittings were of high quality which added to the overall comfort. The Scottish breakfast was excellent with a good selection to choose from. The packed lunch option was convenient for day trips. The location was convenient, with a nearby pub for dinner and a bus stop nearby. The host was very friendly and provided helpful advice on walking routes and local boat services. The lounge area was a great space to relax and unwind.
The hotel was a few minutes away from the main lake area, which may not be ideal for everyone. Although I enjoyed the walk, others may find it inconvenient.
